I Feel Good is the 22nd overall episode of The Big Comfy Couch. In this episode, Loonette and Molly learn about feeling good about themselves. The two play the "What if?" game. Loonette, Granny, and Major Bedhead exercise. Loonette reads a story about an ugly duck.

Act 1[]

The episode starts with Loonette waking up and she sees the viewer and says that she's glad they could come over today and asks Molly she's right but she couldn't find her on her back and asks the viewer, "Now where did she get to? She was here just a minute ago." and something squished on her back and asks "What was that?" and gets up and finds squished Molly and asks her what is she doing under there and asks was she was squishing her and says she's sorry and Molly is un-squished and Loonette asks if she's okay and says she's feeling kind of scrunched and checks her body. After checking her body, Loonette says Molly seems to be in pretty good shape for someone who just sat on. Loonette feels kind of scrunched herself and says "I think it's time for the clock rug stretch!" and goes to the clock rug stretch and Molly waves goodbye to her.

Before doing her stretch, Loonette says to the viewer "See if you can do this! It's fun!" and Loonette does the clock rug stretch.

After doing her stretch, Loonette goes back to the couch and says she doesn't feel so scrunched and asks Molly "How about you? I'd hate to think that i squeezed you or squeezed you when i sat on you. Especially your nose! I like it. Do you like my nose?" and Molly says yes and Loonette says "Why thank you!" and tells Molly it is her favorite part and asks Molly what is her favorite part of her body and tells her ears are neat and says to the viewer "With ears, you can hear beautiful sounds!" and does a singing opera and Molly covers her ears and says to the viewer "One rule about ears: Never stick anything in your ear that is smaller than your elbow" and tells Molly eyes are used to see things with and sees Molly closer and says "I see you! And noses, my favorite!" and pretends smelling her nose while saying "You can smell things with your nose like the beautiful scent of a rose!" and takes a deep breath and says to Molly "How about hands maybe?" and tells her "With hands, you can pick things up or play Pat-a-cake. Or you can use them to tickle Molly!" and tickles Molly and asks what is her favorite body part and Molly says it's her bellybutton and Loonette says "Let's see" and lifts up her dress to see her bellybutton and says "That's a good reason to like it best." and sings a song about bellybuttons called "Belly Button" while lifting her dress up.

After the song, Loonette says "It's your bellybutton." and lifts down her dress and finds things for their bodies. She finds a bigger bellybutton and says "This is bigger than anybody's bellybutton! That's for sure!" and finds a scarf and puts it around her neck and takes off the scarf and finds a hat and puts it on Molly and says "It's so cute!" and asks the viewer "What else could possibly be in here?" and finds a sink and says to the viewer "It had to happen sometime. Well, I guess a sink is important to body parts washing hands and stuff like that!" and asks Molly what if the bubble tub is inside the couch and asks the viewer "Wouldn't it be funny?" and Molly checks under the couch but she couldn't and Loonette says "Silly, Molly!" and says the bubble tub isn't inside the couch and tells she was just playing the "What if?" game and Molly tells her what is it and Loonette tells her the "What if?" game and says to the viewer "It's a game of pretend. It's easy and it's fun!" and tells her "First, you scrunch up your face really tight like this and then you ask yourself a really silly "What if" question like "What if I had really big feet?" using her imagination and Loonette has really big feet and says if she had really huge feet, while she make it difficult to tiptoe or hard to dance. But if she had really huge feet, they'll be good for stomping around and keeping her balance. Now it's Molly's turn and she asks her "What if?" and Molly uses her imagination and Molly has really big ears and Loonette says to her "If she had really huge ears, they would wiggle around whenever there was a breeze. But if she had really huge ears, she could hear really far and also they will be very useful for flying." and Molly thinks it was fun and Loonette says to the viewer "Okay, once more, and this time really use your imagination. Okay?" and uses her imagination while saying "What if I had such a really big nose that...?" and Loonette in a really big nose costume and says if she had a really big nose, so big, so huge, that she almost just one big nose, all she could do is sniff. But she could smell all sorts of things from very far away. Of course. I'd have to watch out for things like...allergies and sneezes. Loonette says to Molly she ever glad she's not just one really big nose and what if she got a cold and says to the viewer "Enough of the "What if" game."

Foley Family Segment[]

Loonette decides to play with the Foley family in her doll house. She describes them as having lots of body parts that can bend and pose before noticing that Jim Foley is on the couch but "...he doesn't look too well." Loonette notices Jim's doll form is sitting off to the side of the couch wrapped in a blanket. An unoccupied, foot sized tub sits next to Jim. Loonette picks Jim up off the couch and decides that she "better put him in the tub," moving him to sit in the middle of the couch squarely in the tub.

The scene then crossfades into the life sized version of the Foley family. Jim's symptoms immediately come to the forefront, his face blistering with purple pock marks as he sneezes and shivers on the family couch, shaking uncontrollably, feet firmly planted in the steaming hot tub. He squirms and writhes between wheezes, letting slip a powerful sneeze that shakes the whole house and prompts Eileen to scurry into view.

Jim in the tub

Eileen scrambles to and fro in desperate attempts to help Jim by putting a pouch on his head. Jim obliges and eagerly clutches at the pouch, pressing it against his matted hair with all his might, but another sudden sneeze like uproar forcefully throws Jim's body back against the couch. Eileen squeals as she is headbutted by Jim's rearing form and topples onto the floor, sprawled out.

Jim regains his composure as Eileen recovers from the fall, running to Jim's aid only to surprise him. She nags at him affectionately and playfully but Jim rebuffs her. Eileen shakes her head as Jim stubbornly tries to get out of the tub on his own, sneezing and tumbling over the back of the couch and out of view while Eileen is blasted backward yet again.

Jim rises up from behind the couch, staring into the camera, looking visibly dazed as Eileen grunts her way through the arduous task of lifting him up over the edge of the upholstery and back onto the couch.

Eileen mutters something in Foley language and tosses her husband's feet back into the tub that his little stunt failed to get him out of before she frantically dodges into the kitchen just as he lets off another house shaking sneeze.

Having tried it his way, she returns to the couch with a tea pot. Eileen removes the lid and hands it to a curious Jim. She communicates to him with a series of high pitched squawks, looking at the camera and gesturing confidently. Jim shrugs in agreement and downs its contents, his red pock marks disappear instantly.

Jim, suddenly feeling better, sets the pot down and throws off the blanket, and Eileen joins him in a dance around the couch.

As they celebrate, a loud noise shakes the whole house, and Jim and Eileen stop in their tracks as they look to the door. The door opens and reveals Andy Foley, their son, who steps into view with the same red pock marks that Jim had. Andy wheezes in a sort of half-sigh, half-whimper and walks towards his parents, who rush to comfort him just before he sneezes, blasting his parents back several feet.

The foley family

Jim and Eileen scramble back to Andy and look into the camera worryingly before rushing him over to the tub. They lift him up and plop him into the tub, shoes and all. The normally rambunctious teen yelps in submission and groans as he is swaddled in the lobster blanket. Jim applies the pouch to his son's head forcefully and Eileen presses the tea pot into Andy's hands. The episode ends with Jim and Eileen holding Andy gingerly and staring at him affectionately while Andy stares into the camera and whines.

Granny's Garden[]

Loonette asks Molly what they would like to do now and she says she wants to go to Granny Garbanzo's Garden. The two go over there only to find Granny doing her beauty makeover. She says that she uses the cucumbers on her eyes to make them soft and pretty and the garlic around her neck since it's good for the heart. She also says that she uses the rose to be beautiful and romantic. The reason why she does all this is because it makes her feel good. After that, Major Bedhead arrives and complains that he's flat and flabby, saying that he has a spare tire in him, making it difficult to touch his toes. Granny suggests that everyone should do exercises just to feel good and they all do it. Meanwhile, a sleepy Snickelfritz yawns and shakes his head when watching all the action, then goes back to sleep. Everyone continues exercising, until Loonette stops everything and notices that the spare tire that Major Bedhead has is actually real; not in his belly. He says that he carried that just in case he gets a flat tire. Major Bedhead then delivers a small package and a postcard from Auntie Macassar. However, the postcard and package have no name on them. Loonette reads the postcard anyway. After that, it turns out to be catnip for Snickelfritz, which he goes crazy for. Then, Major Bedhead leaves and Loonette and Molly go back to the couch.

Act 2[]

Once back at the couch, Loonette gives Molly a bath. Then, she reads the story of an ugly duck. Once she's finished reading, Molly's in her pajamas and the two get ready for bed. However, there's a big mess and Loonette does the ten second tidy. Once finished, she gets very tired, but feels good. Finally, the two say goodbye to the viewers and go to sleep.
